| We have Bamboo Fly Rod classes that are taught several times a year with eight students per class (Individual classes are also available and time lines are determined before the class is started). The classes last six days and all the materials and tools are included in the price. Each student will have their own individual workbench and discrete tool sets. At the conclusion of the class each student will have built his or her own bamboo fly rod that will be ready to fish after about two weeks of seasoning. The class is structured to meet the educational needs of the student and will provide each student with the necessary skills to make their own rods following the class.
Graphite Rod classes are taught over a two day period and are available based on demand. All necessary materials and tools are included in the price. As mentioned above each student will have their own individual workbench and discrete tool sets. At the conclusion of the two days each student will have built his or her own graphite rod on his or her blank choice that will be ready to fish after about two days of seasoning. This class is structured to meet the educational needs of the student and will provide each student with the necessary skills to make their own rods following the class.
