The R&D Enterprises building is called "The Shop" and includes all of the elements to the right and more. Much of the space is made available for public service and to government and community service organizations free of charge. Reservations and scheduling are required. We are now processing an event calendar which will provide many other community support programs to include pancake breakfast appreciation days, young adult dances and karaoke nights, adult dinner theater and dance programs, food donation programs for the needy, and a wide-range of other community support programs throughout the year.
This facility is available for private parties, gatherings, and events, based on availability. The Class Rooms are also available for periodic use for such things as dance classes, arts and crafts, and study groups. There is a nominal fee for use of the facilities and revenues will be used to provide funding support to a wide-range of public service organizations. In addition, the Commercial Kitchen is available for use to support certain activities or catering can be provided based on the user's requirements.
The day-to-day events will be scheduled to allow for both set-up and clean-up between activities. The facility staff can perform these functions for a fee to ease the burden on the user. We will also limit some activities based on noise levels and movements to accommodate simultaneous usage of resources.
